Under this scheme government provide financial assistance to selected women beneficiaries in five equal phases directly credited into their registered bank accounts. To make process of distribution smoother, government decided to conduct a door to door survey to determine the left out beneficiaries ensuring no one is left out in receiving benefits from the government under Subhadra Yojana. As per the sources, a total of approximately 1,20 crore beneficiaries will be covered by the government across the state.
Under this scheme each women whose age is lying in between 21-60 years receive direct financial assistance of Rs 10,000 annually, which is divided into two equal installments of Rs 5,000. By offering this support government aims to empower women and make them financially independent so that they can easily fulfill their basic necessities effectively without any dependence on others.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Odisha Subhadra Yojana, applicant needs to meet with the following eligibility criteria’s these are as mentioned below:-
- Applicant must be a permanent native of Odisha
- Applicant must be a woman by gender.
- Age of the women candidate must lying in between 21-60 years at the time of application.

Financial Benefits
- Under this scheme deserving women receive financial assistance of Rs 10,000 per annum for a period of 5 years from 2024-25 to 2028-29 directly to their bank accounts into two equal installments.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Applicant who receive financial assistant in the form of pension scholarship etc under any state or Central government scheme are in eligible to apply
- Both man and transgender are unable to receive benefits of Subhadra.
- Women more than 60 years are ineligible to apply.
- Applicant who is current or former member of parliament are in eligible to apply
- Applicant income tax are unable to apply
- Applicant who works in State government or government of India as an employee are ineligible to apply.
- Applicant who is the owner of a four-wheeler motor vehicle are ineligible to apply except tractors mini trucks small commercial vehicles and other similar light goods vehicle.

5th Phase 1 Installment Release Date
- As per the official reports, government released the fifth phase of the first instalment amount of the Subhadra Yojana will be distributed on today. In the fifth phase, more than 2 lakh 30 thousand new beneficiaries will receive the financial assistance.
- On the other hand, the second instalment of Subhadra Yojana will be distributed on the 8th of March on the Women’s Day.
