The West Bengal state government has released the Banglar Bari List 2025. All the citizens who have applied for the Banglar Bari Awas Yojana can now visit the official website to check the beneficiary list online. The beneficiary list was released by the state authorities to inform all citizens who are selected to receive the financial benefits. The online facility will allow citizens to check the beneficiary list online in the comfort of their homes without visiting any government offices. To make it more convenient for the citizens the state government released the beneficiary list in a district-wise manner.
What is Banglar Bari Awas Yojana?
The West Bengal state government launched the Banglar Bari Awas Yojana to provide affordable houses to the homeless citizens of the state. All the citizens of West Bengal State who belong to the economically disadvantage section of the state are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme. The financial benefits of INR 1.2 lakh will be given to the selected citizens for the building of their houses. The financial benefits will be given in 3 different installments first when the construction will start of INR 60,000 and the second installment will be given during the construction of INR 50,000.

Objective of Banglar Bari Awas Yojana 2025
The main objective of launching the Banglar Bari Awas Yojana 2025 is to help to citizens of West Bengal State who cannot afford their own house. This scheme is a significant step of the West Bengal State Government towards eliminating homelessness in the state. The senior government officials of West Bengal state will conduct a checking process in different districts to make sure only genuine citizens will receive the benefits. The scheme focuses on Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), widows, disabled individuals, elderly people, minorities, and families living in poverty.

Eligibility Criteria
- The citizens must be a resident of West Bengal.
- The citizens must belong to an economically weaker section, based on income criteria set by the state.
- The citizens must not own a permanent (pucca) house in their name.
- The annual income of the citizens should be less than Rs. 1 lakh.
Financial Benefits
- The total financial assistance of INR 1.2 lakh or 1.3 lakh in remote areas will be given for house construction.
- The first installment of INR 60,000 will be given to the beneficiaries during the start of construction.
- The second installment of INR 50,000 will be given during the construction is going on.
- The remaining balance will be paid when the construction of the house is complete.
