On November 30th, a cyclone hit the northern States of Tamil Nadu state and caused widespread destruction among various business entities. The districts of Tamil Nadu State that were affected by the cyclone include Kallakurichi, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, etc. The cyclone-affected small vendors of Tamil Nadu State will receive financial assistance in the form of loans ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 1 lakh. The interest rate under the scheme will be comparatively lower than any other loan scheme. The Tamil Nadu state government will set up the camps from 6th December to 12th December that will provide the loan to the cyclone-affected citizens.
