Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Odisha Subhadra Yojana, applicant needs to meet with the following eligibility criteria’s these are as mentioned below:-

  • Applicant must be a permanent native of Odisha
  • Applicant must be a woman by gender.
  • Age of the women candidate must lying in between 21-60 years at the time of application.
  • Applicant must have their own bank account linked with Aadhar card
  • Annual income of applying women’s family must not be more than Rs 2.5 lakhs per annum from all sources.

Ineligibility Criteria

  • Applicant who receive financial assistant in the form of pension scholarship etc under any state or Central government scheme are in eligible to apply
  • Both man and transgender are unable to receive benefits of Subhadra.
  • Women more than 60 years are ineligible to apply.
  • Applicant who is current or former member of parliament are in eligible to apply
  • Applicant income tax are unable to apply
  • Applicant who works in State government or government of India as an employee are ineligible to apply.
  • Applicant who is the owner of a four-wheeler motor vehicle are ineligible to apply except tractors mini trucks small commercial vehicles and other similar light goods vehicle.
  • Applicant whose family income is more than Rs 2.5 lakh are in eligible to apply for the same

Financial Benefits

  • Under this scheme deserving women receive financial assistance of Rs 10,000  per annum for a period of 5 years from 2024-25 to 2028-29 directly to their bank accounts into two equal installments. 
  • The first installment of 5,000 will credited on the occasion of Rakhi Purnima and second will be deposited on International Womenโ€™s Day respectively through DBT.
