The Odisha state government launched the Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana 2024-25. To provide financial assistance in the form of pocket money to all the students of Odisha state who belong to the ST category the state authorities have introduced the Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana. The one-time financial assistance will allow the students to purchase study materials or other basic amenities that they cannot afford. The scheme will be launched by the Chief Minister of Odisha state Mr Mohan Charan Majhi on the death anniversary of Saheed Madho Singh on 31st December 2024.
About Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana
To celebrate the Legacy of Shahid Madho Singh the Odisha state government has announced the launch of the Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana. Under this scheme, all the students who belong to the scheduled tribe category in the Odisha state will receive one-time financial help. Financial help of up to INR 5000 will be given to the selected students of the state. All the students who are studying in classes 9th and 10th and belong to the schedule tribe category are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme. The students will start receiving financial help from 31st December 2024.

Objective of Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana
The main objective of launching the scheme is to allow the financially unstable students belonging to the scheduled tribe category to become self-dependent. By receiving a one-time financial assistance of INR 5000 the students can purchase study materials like books, school dresses, or other important amenities. This scheme will uplift the social status and standard of living of all the students who belong to the scheduled tribe category. This scheme was launched by the Odisha state government to significantly reduce the dropout rate of students belonging to the scheduled tribe category.

STEP 1: All the Students who clear the eligibility criteria are requested to visit the Scholarship Odisha website to apply for the Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana online.
STEP 2: Once the students reach the homepage of the official website they must locate and click on the option “register”.
STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the students must read the terms and conditions and click on the option “proceed”.
STEP 4: The students must Now enter their Aadhar card number and click on the option “get OTP” and enter the OTP that they have received.
STEP 5: Now the application form will appear on your desktop screen the students must enter all the details that are asked and attach all the necessary documents.
STEP 6: After entering all the details the students must quickly review it and click on the option “submit” to complete their process.
