About Namo Shetkari Yojana
To uplift the social status and standard of living of the farmers of Maharashtra state the state government launched the Namo Shetkari Yojana. The scheme was launched by the Honorable Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi in Maharashtra state in October 2023. Under this scheme, the Maharashtra state government will provide financial help of INR 6000 to all eligible farmers. The objective of the Namo Shetkari Yojana Installment
The main objective of releasing the Namo Shetkari Yojana Installment is to inform all the selected farmers when they will receive their financial help. According to the information the sixth installment of the scheme is expected to be released in February 2025. With the help of this scheme, the Government of Maharashtra state will make the farmers self-dependent. The farmers can enhance their farming equipment significantly by adding the latest technology products without worrying about financial troubles. The scheme will allow farmers to reduce stress and focus more on their farming.
Namo Shetkari Yojana 5th Installment
The 5th installment of the scheme was released by the Maharashtra state government on 5th October 2024. According to the information, the Government of Maharashtra released a total of INR 2000 crore to provide financial assistance to the farmers. A total of 2.5 crore farmers across Maharashtra state have received the fifth installment of financial assistance. All the farmers received the financial assistance transfer directly to the bank account through the DBT process.

Eligibility Criteria
- The farmers must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
- The farmers should be small or marginal farmers with agricultural land.
- Farmers already benefiting from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are automatically eligible for additional support.
- The farmers must have a bank account linked to Aadhaar for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
- The farmers should be listed in the beneficiary records maintained by the Government of India.
- Farmers with limited income or those from economically weaker sections qualify.
- No one in the family should be a government employee or pay income tax.
