The Shinde government of Maharashtra has launched a welfare scheme for all women in the state through the Ministry of Women and Child Welfare Development. This scheme is called as Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana. It has been formally announced by Maharashtra State Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. The Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana would provide women with a monthly allowance of Rs. 1500. Women in Maharashtra would receive Rs 1500 per month, or Rs 2.5 lakh annually, according to a budget session provision. About Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana 2024-25
Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, introduced the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana for women on June 28 as part of the 2024–25 budget. Financial requirements have been placed on the Rs 1,500 per month that women in Maharashtra between the ages of 21 and 65 would receive under this plan. Approximately one crore Maharashtra women would benefit from the Ladki Bahin Yojana. Women in need of financial support and empowerment might benefit from this program. In order to give women in Maharashtra some financial help, the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana was started as a welfare program in Maharashtra.

Objective of Ladki Bahin Yojana
The primary goal of the Ladki Bahin Yojana initiative is to give women in Maharashtra who belong to economically disadvantaged groups financial support so they may satisfy their basic requirements and have a primary source of income. If we look at the state of Maharashtra, just 29% of women are actively working, whereas 59.10% of males are engaged for daily wages. Eligibility Criteria
- A woman must be a Maharashtra state citizen in order to get the benefits of the Ladki Bahin Yojana.
- The woman’s Aadhaar card needs to be connected to a bank passbook.
- There is only one single woman in each family, along with married, divorced, widowed, abandoned, and poor women across the state.
- The Ladki Bahin Yojana will be available to women who are at least 21 years old and no older than 65.
- Women from households earning no more than Rs 2.5 lakhs per year will be eligible to receive the Ladki Bahin Yojana.

Ladki Bahin Yojana Beneficiary will get Rs 2100 Monthly
- The Mahayuti made it clear in their election promises that if they were to win back power, the Ladli Behna Yojana would be increased from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100.
- Chief Minister Eknath Shinde claims that instead of the Rs 1,500 that was promised in the Mahayuti manifesto, the state’s Ladli sisters will soon get Rs 2,100.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The candidate will not be chosen for the plan if her family’s total yearly income exceeds INR 2.5 lakh.
- The applicant’s family cannot include any taxpayers.
- The applicant will not be chosen under the program if any of his family members are employed as regular or permanent staff members in a government department, undertaking, board, government of India, local body of state, or drawing person after retirement.
- The applicant’s family members cannot be current or previous MPs or MLAs.
- The applicant’s family cannot include any government employees.
- To be eligible for the program, a member of the applicant’s family cannot possess any four-wheelers other than tractors.

STEP 2: When the candidate reaches the main page of the official website, they must choose the Applicant Login option.

Step 4: Complete the registration form by providing the candidate’s name, address, and password, among other needed details.
STEP 5: After entering all of their information, the candidate must quickly verify it and click “Sign Up” to complete the process.
Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana Online Apply through Nari Shakti
STEP 1: Female citizens must download the Ladki Bahin Yojana App 2024 from their Play Store or App Store in order to apply online.
Step 2: The female citizens must download the program, open it, input their cellphone number, and choose “login.”
Step 3: After you agree to all terms and conditions, your registered phone will receive an OTP. After entering the OTP, click “verify.”
STEP 4: The female citizens now have to fill out their profile by providing their district, email address, and name.
Step 5: The female residents now need to look for Ladki Bahin Yojana and select the “application form” option.
Step 6: The application form for female citizens will now show up on your desktop screen. You must fill out all the required information and choose “submit” to finish the procedure.
