About MHADA Konkan First Come First Serve Lottery
The Maharashtra state government is providing affordable housing units to the citizens under their new MHADA Konkan First Come First Serve Lottery scheme. The Maharashtra state authorities have identified a total of 29 locations including railway stations, petrol pumps, and government offices to promote the housing schemes. The price range for the flats will start from INR 15 lakh and the locations are Thane, Kalyan, Titwala, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Vengurla, and Malvan. The apartments under the scheme are ready to move with electricity and water supply. All the citizens who want to avail the benefits of this scheme must fill out the application form before the last date 10th December 2024.
Objective of MHADA Konkan First Come First Serve Lottery
The main objective of launching the scheme is to allow the citizens of Maharashtra state to get apartments at a cheaper rate than the market. The apartments are available at a lower rate of INR 15 lakh to very high furnished apartments ranging to INR 1 crore. The MHADA is taking steps to sell affordable homes under the first come, first serve scheme, considering it has an unsold inventory of over ₹3,000 crore across Maharashtra.

The Konkan Board of MHADA has increased the number of housing units under the Konkan First Come First Serve Lottery scheme. Now a total of 16 housing units are available under the scheme. The price range of the housing units ranges from INR 15 lakh to INR 1 crore. All these flats are available in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Currently, the last date to register under the scheme is 15th January 2025 but it is expected that the authorities will increase the deadline eventually. This lottery scheme will allow the MHADA authorities to sell out the unsold inventory which is worth INR 3000 crore.
