The Chhattisgarh State Government launched the Mahtari Shakti Loan Yojana 2024-25. To encourage the female citizens of Chhattisgarh state to start their own self-employment venture the state government has introduced the Mahtari Shakti Loan Yojana. The loan amount under the scheme will encourage the female citizens of the state to become self-dependent by starting their own businesses. The loan amount of up to INR 25000 will be given to the selected female citizens under the scheme. All the female citizens of Chhattisgarh state who are financially unstable and have a bank account in the State Rural Bank are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme.
About Mahtari Shakti Loan Yojana
The chief minister of Chhattisgarh state Mr Vishnu Deo Sai announce the launch of the Mahtari Shakti Loan Yojana on 1st December 2024. Under this scheme, the authorities will provide financial assistance of INR 25,000 in the form of a loan to the female beneficiaries of Chhattisgarh state. Female citizens who are availing the benefits of the Mahatari Vandan scheme are eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme but they must have a valid bank account in the State Rural Bank. A total of 17.5 lakh female beneficiaries clear all the eligibility criteria to avail of the financial loan under the scheme.
Objective of Mahtari Shakti Loan Yojana
The main objective of launching the Mahtari Shakti Loan Yojana is to uplift the social status and standard of living of all the financially weak female citizens of the state. By using the financial loan under the scheme the female beneficiaries can start their own business and become self-dependent. After receiving the loan the female beneficiaries have a total of 48 installments over a period of 4 years to repay the loan amount. The female beneficiaries did not have to worry about the interest on the loan because the interest amount would be calculated on the outstanding loan amount after the repayment of each installment.
