The Maharashtra Government has released the Maharashtra RTE Admission Result 2025-26. All the students of Maharashtra state who have applied for the Maharashtra right to education can now visit the official website to download the list of the students who are selected by the state government. All the students who are selected under the Maharashtra RTE will receive free education from private schools in Maharashtra state. According to the information more than 3 lakh applications have been received by the Maharashtra state government under the Maharashtra RTE. The Maharashtra education ministry has released the selected students list under Maharashtra RTE on 14th February 2025.
About Maharashtra RTE Admission 2025-26
The Right to Education is a national law passed by the government of India back in 2009 to make sure each child in India will receive the necessary education regardless of their family income. Under the Maharashtra right to education, the state government will reserve 25% of seats in private schools for students who belong to the financially weak household. All the children who are between the age group of 6 to 14 years will receive primary education in private. All the students who belong to the BPL SC ST or OBC category and have an annual income less than INR 1 lakh are eligible to avail the benefits of the right to education.

Eligibility Criteria
- The students must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra state.
- The children must be between the age group of 3 to 6 years.
- The children’s family must belong to the BPL, ST, or SC community.
- The annual income of the children’s family must not exceed INR 1 lakh.
- Only two kids per family can avail of the benefits.
- The children can select only those schools that come under RTE and are in their location area.
