The scheme will allow financially weak citizens to start their entrepreneurship journey by providing subsidies and loans. The citizens who are selected under the scheme will receive a subsidy of up to 25% of the project cost subject to the maximum amount of INR 25 lakh. - The applicant should be a permanent resident of the state of Tamil Nadu.
- The applicant should be an artisan or craftsman by profession.
- The age of the applicant should not be above 35 years.

Salient Features
- First generation: The scheme is only open to citizens who are first-generation entrepreneurs of their families.
- Age category: The minimum age of the selected citizens must be 21 and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Collateral security: Collateral security will be decided as per Bank / Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited (TlIC) guidelines.
- EDP training: It is necessary for all the selected citizens to undergo EDP training for at least 1 month.
