Gunotsav Assam 2024 is a program to evaluate and raise the standard of education in all Assamese schools, has been recently declared by the state government. In order to raise educational standards, this program assesses schools based on a variety of criteria. The Gunotsav will be held in all 35 Assamese districts beginning in January 2025. About Gunotsav
The state government started the Assam Gunotsav program in 2017 with the intention of assessing the standard of education in each of the state’s districts. The program has successfully finished five cycles since it began. The Assam state government introduced Gunotsav, a flagship initiative, to assess and improve the standard of education in schools. Based on their achievement, schools receive grades on a range from A+ to D. In order to guarantee that every kid meets grade-specific learning objectives, authorities can adopt targeted remedial measures after identifying learning gaps through this systematic review. The state’s academic calendar already includes the timetable for the sixth Gunotsav cycle, which will be held in three stages.
Objective of Assam Gunotsav
The main objective of the Gunotsav program in Assam is to improve the general learning outcomes and the quality of education for students throughout the state. Through this evaluation approach, instructors and students may collaborate to advance high-quality education. The program will help 39,65,081 kids in grades 1 through 9. Three stages will comprise the execution of the Assam Gunotsav 2025. The first phase will include 11 districts and run from January 6 to 9. The second phase will take place in 14 districts from January 17 to 22. The third phase will take place in 10 districts from February 5 to 8.
