About Karnataka Gruhalakshmi Scheme
The Karnataka Gruhalakshmi Scheme is a type of women empowerment scheme in which Government provide financial assistance of Rs 2,000 through DBT mode ensure transparency and efficiency in the distribution process. Under this scheme government designed a total outlay of Rs 28608.40 crores for the effective implementation of the scheme in the state. As yet a total of 1.25 crore beneficiaries have been successfully enrolled in the state by the month of July,2024 out of which 93,69,532, other category beneficiaries 22,63,894 SC and 8,83,547 ST are enrolled respectively. By offering this scheme government aims to uplift the status of economic empowerment of women in the state.
