To provide more financial assistance and help the female citizens who cannot afford various necessities the new chief minister Mr. Devendra Fadnavishas enhanced the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. As of now a total of 2.4 million female beneficiaries of Maharashtra state have availed the financial assistance under the scheme. But after coming into power in Maharashtra state Mr Devendra Fadnavis will start refining the beneficiaries. All the beneficiaries who are selected under the scheme have received a total financial assistance of INR 7500.
